  A graduate of Case Western Reserve University School of Dentistry, Dr. Kurt Thomas began private practice in 1984. He continually broadens his skills through advanced training in esthetic and restorative dentistry and provides optimal care and comfort through the latest technology.
An active member of the American Dental Association, Ohio Dental Society, and Cleveland Dental Society, Dr. Thomas has served on the Case Western Reserve Alumni Board of Directors and is a Clinical Instructor at Cuyahoga Community College. He is also a Curriculum V graduate of the prestigious Pankey Institute, a renowned facility for experienced dentists who have established, progressive dental practices.
Dr. Thomas has selected staff members for their skills and compatible commitment to exceptional patient care.

Call me a problem solver with a big heart! I love helping people afford great dental care. Their smiles let me know my job is appreciated.
As a native of Cleveland involved in dentistry for nearly 30 years, you will come to understand how very passionate I am about finding ways for our patients to receive their maximum benefits, to which they are entitled by their insurance provider. Because I care so much, I'll often take it personally when insurance companies don't pay what they should! I truly am dedicated to working tirelessly for our patients to help decipher the complexities of dental insurance.
At home, I so enjoy long neighborhood walks, relaxing while reading inspirational books and you'll find me often in the kitchen experimenting with new recipes! My passion is being involved in my church and our several outreach ministries dedicated to helping the ill. The lights of my life are my two grandchildren; the world's most wonderful gifts.

Did you know most surgeons won't let a patient have open heart surgery without getting clearance from their dentist?
It's true!
The advances in dental hygiene are truly amazing and I am so grateful to be a part of that wellness on a daily basis. I have the privilege of encouraging patients to be proactive about their health-so much that I named myself "CEO of education and motivation!" And I hold that title with the highest regard! What fascinates me the most is seeing not only the improvements in dental health, but overall systemic health.
So, I was one of those who knew my true purpose when I was only 16 years old. I could just feel it - I wanted to be a dental hygienist! Can you believe that? One of my close family friends who was a hygienist herself introduced me to the world of dental hygiene. I graduated from hygiene school in 1995 and have loved every minute since!
Growing up in Western New York, being outdoors was in integral part of my childhood. We did it all - hunting, fishing, logging, and skiing year round. I still love all things outdoors and you'll often find me playing football, volleyball, and exercising.
Outside of my expertise in Dr. Thomas' office, I have such a blast teaching my sweet Papillon, "Calvin", new tricks, hanging out in the kitchen trying out new healthy recipes, and traveling to exotic locations. I mean who doesn't right?

Vicki, Dental Assistant:
I love my job! I am thrilled at the difference we make in our patients' lives. It's a wonderful feeling to see our patients so excited and happy with how they look after treatment. Many of them have even hugged us and burst into tears when they see their "bad smiles" being replaced with a new beautiful and "lifelike" smile. The confidence they acquire is astounding!
I delight in watching personalities blossom as I see our patients become more outgoing in their lives. Some have even gone as far as changing careers as result of their new confidence. How lucky I am to be a part of this transformation?
I'm continually amazed at the power of "lifelike" and beautiful teeth. Imagine that poor smile equaling poor self image. A beautiful smile= Healthy image.
I am a native of West Virginia and moved to Elyria, Ohio at the age of 5. I have worked in the dental field since 1979 and started working for Dr. Thomas ten years ago.
I am so thankful to be married for 35 years and to be blessed with two wonderful daughters. You'll always find our home full of laughter and activity from kids, friends, and neighbors! Everyone loves hanging out at "Momma Keefer's". Our weekly Sunday dinners have made such a difference in our lives. Our children will always have fond memories of this tradition to hand down to future generations.
